Advising

College of Business faculty are available each semester for academic advising.  Students are encouraged to seek out their faculty advisor throughout the semester if they have any questions or concerns.  Faculty interaction with students is a major component of our business model.

Change of Major
For a change of major, you must complete the Major Change Form and submit the completed form to the Registrar's office.

Advising Process for ACCT and CIS majors
ACCT and CIS majors must be advised prior to every registration period.  In order to register for classes, ACCT and CIS majors must meet with a faculty advisor.  Once advised, the faculty advisor lifts the advisement hold.

  • Download an Advising Form and print at least 2 copies
  • Complete the Advising Form prior to meeting with the faculty advisor.  List the proposed schedule of classes for a minimum of two semesters (i.e. Fall, Spring).  Refer to the advising aids listed above for assistance.
  • Meet with the Faculty Advisor
  • Faculty Advisor lifts the advisement hold once satisfied with the proposed schedule of classes
  • The Advising Form remains with the Faculty Advisor for documentation
